Rewarding Yourself I am a fan of games. I love to play games. But now, sometimes I feel like I’m wasting a lot of time playing it. I feel I can use my time more wisely and work on my site instead. And the games are expensive. One game costs $60, I can buy 5 great articles for my site with this money. But it pays to reward yourself every now and then. That day, I took a trip to Game Stop, the video game store. And I was thinking whether or not I should buy a game. And of course, I had thoughts that I could spend this money wisely in my work. But I had been working hard up until that point, so buying me a toy was great. So I didn’t buy one, but two! But it came with a price tag. I told myself if I buy these games, I will write 4 more articles for my site during this month (I will get into the double bonus system later). The high-ranking rich are miserable From doctors, lawyers, entrepreneurs, and CEOs, they all seem workaholic to me. They are so busy that some don’t even have time for their families. And if they don’t have time for their families, I doubt they have time to waste on a hobby like playing video games. They are already tired of their jobs. Getting a break once in a while is not a bad idea for these types of people. I never want to be like this. Of course I want to be rich, but I don’t want to be rich and miserable. That’s why I bought these two games. I wanted to reward myself for my hard work. I don’t want to always work and never play. Work Reward System If you want to get around, make sure it comes at a price. If you want to buy a game, as I did, be sure to do something in return, write 4 more articles for the month. Every time I buy something I make sure I work extra hard for it later. I say things like, “Well, if I buy this…I’ll do that later…” But there is a rule for this reward and work system. When you take the time to enjoy your reward, don’t worry about anything else. Give yourself 100% interest in your reward. What’s the point if you’re playing a game and are worried about your job? The bonus will not be affected in this way.
